Release Notes

What's new, improved, and fixed in Water LLM. Newest first.

October 17, 2026 Latest

One hub and a shorter menu. What you do every day sits at the top of the Water LLM menu, anything that runs on a schedule can be run by hand from Run Manually, and every setting lives in the Configure Hub.

✨ New

  • A Phone column on 📅 Clients and 📈 Biz Dev, right after Email. Pick someone in Create › Client or Lead and their number fills in from the CRM; if they have more than one, “other numbers” lets you choose.
  • Expenses-only invoices. An invoice with just T+E or other reimbursable costs now makes the PDF and the Gmail draft, like any other invoice.
  • More SOW placeholders: {{Bill To Name}} (the sponsor, or the client when there isn’t one), {{Your Name}}, {{Term Months}}, {{Phone}}, and the fee formatted as money.

⚡ Improved

  • The menu: Open Sidebar, Quick Note, Meeting Prep, Biz Dev Board and Sync now at the top; then Create, Run Manually and Import; then the Configure Hub. Refresh Dashboard is under Run Manually. Sync & Refresh, Run Assistants, Invoicing and the Settings Hub are gone — see where everything went.
  • One Configure Hub. The old Settings Hub is now its Account & maintenance part, at the bottom. My Focus Dashboard moved there too.
  • Invoice amounts read like money: $7,500.00, with your currency’s own decimals (none for yen or won).
  • The newsletter digest reads cleanly on a phone, and a summary cut short shows what arrived instead of raw text.
  • The “other emails” and “other numbers” links can be reached with the Tab key.

🐛 Fixed

  • Phone numbers and ZIP codes lost a leading 0 (07700 900123, 02134) or showed an error for a leading +, when saved from a dialog, a CSV import or a calendar invite.
  • Emoji in a newsletter subject showed up as “” in the digest.
  • The same phone number written two ways ((555) 867-5309 and 5558675309) was offered twice.

Know where your business comes from, what each deal needs next and what each client is working toward — and get one morning email that puts it in front of you. After updating, run Water LLM › Update Internal Testers once to add the new columns and lists.

✨ New

  • A new Daily Briefing — a one-line summary, your next steps with one-tap buttons, your tasks, and a card per meeting with what you covered last time and Join · Add a note · Open notes · Open in CRM.
  • Next Step on every deal — one next step with a due date; Water LLM notices when it’s done and suggests the next one. It never sets one for you.
  • Client goals — what a client is working toward, at the top of their notes doc, on the sidebar and in the briefing.
  • Client Wrap-up — a thank-you draft with a testimonial and referral ask a few days after a client finishes; optionally a note to their sponsor and to whoever referred them. Ships off.
  • Lead Source and Lost Reason — where each person came from, and why a deal was lost.
  • Business health on 🎯 My Focus — where deals stall, why you lose, where business comes from, what each kind of work really pays, and what to set aside for tax.
  • Client Tracker settings — what counts as a session, all-day events with a client, company clients and prep time, which emails count, and when to flag a client.

⚡ Improved

  • One look for every email Water LLM sends you, each starting with a one-line verdict and ending with where to change or turn it off. Client drafts carry no branding — they look like you typed them.
  • One placeholder style everywhere: {{First Name}}. Capitals and spaces don’t matter, blank lines drop out, misspellings are flagged, and every template has a Preview.
  • Every settings dialog works the same way: nothing saves until Save, Cancel cancels, and the confirmation says what changed.
  • Your task list arrives in the Daily Briefing (or as its own email if the briefing is off).

🐛 Fixed

  • Invoice email placeholders chosen from the buttons came out blank, and the default invoice email signed off “Water LLM” instead of you.
  • Custom reminder and workflow emails lost their line breaks, and subjects showed & instead of &.
  • Scheduled Email Outreach in date-range mode drafted nobody, and its match count always showed 0.
  • Workflow AI personalisation drafted an empty email when you had no Style Guide.
  • LinkedIn import review now correctly sets aside people already in your CRM.
September 2026

Your booking page now finishes the job. It could take a booking. It couldn’t tell you about it, couldn’t move it, and couldn’t put the person into your CRM — despite a checkbox that said it would.

✨ New

  • Reschedule, from inside the invite — every booking’s calendar invite now carries Reschedule and Cancel links, in the thing already sitting on your client’s calendar rather than in an email they deleted. Rescheduling moves the same event: their entry shifts instead of vanishing, anything they added survives, and the Meet link keeps working.
  • You find out when someone books. An email every time someone books, reschedules or cancels, with their answers and what happened to your CRM. Not a setting — a public booking link you aren’t told about isn’t a feature.
  • Optional 24-hour reminders to whoever booked. Off by default, per session type.
  • Declines are noticed. If someone declines the invite instead of using the Cancel link, Water LLM marks the booking cancelled and tells you, within the hour.

🐛 Fixed

  • “Auto-add booker to CRM” did nothing. The checkbox saved your choice and was never read, so no booking ever created a contact. It now works — and it checks before it creates, across all four email columns, so booking twice can never make two rows. It can create their notes doc too, with their intake answers as the first entry.
  • The booker confirmation email could never have sent. It used a Google service needing a permission Water LLM doesn’t request, so every attempt failed silently into the Bookings (Errors) tab. Bookings and invites were never affected. Now sent from your own Gmail, so a copy lands in your Sent folder.
  • Intake answers were hidden from you. Questions marked “private” were kept off the invite — which meant the only way to read them was a hidden spreadsheet tab. Every answer now appears on the invite, so you both open the same brief.
  • Cancel links could break if you rearranged the Bookings tab. Found in review, not in the wild. The code behind the Cancel link found your booking by counting columns rather than reading their names, so a column inserted into the hidden Bookings tab would have made it tell your client their link was invalid — while the booking sat there perfectly valid. The same counting problem would have made the 24-hour reminder resend every hour. Every part of the booking system now finds its columns by name, so you can rearrange that tab however you like.

⚡ Changed

  • The separate confirmation email to your booker is now optional and off by default. The calendar invite already carries the time, the join link and both lifecycle links.
September 2026

✨ New

  • Weekly Client Recap — every Saturday, a short summary of the week’s email with each active or onboarding client, written into their Google Doc Notes. The same Doc you already open before a session, so what happened between sessions is waiting there. Entries are appended, never overwritten, and a week with nothing substantial in it produces no entry at all rather than filler.
  • The recap covers your pipeline and your sponsors too — a deal that moved gets an entry saying what changed and who owes the next move, even if no email was exchanged. Sponsors get a recap of their own, built only from correspondence with them.
  • Winning a deal now offers two next steps — Create Client or Create Invoice. Start the engagement now and bill later, or bill first. It used to assume invoicing was the only thing you’d want.

🐛 Fixed

  • Pipeline stages now keep their place. Adding a stage in the middle of your pipeline could shift what every later stage meant and clear historical close dates. Each of the eleven stage slots now keeps its own history. See Customising pipeline stages.
  • Weekly jobs saved the wrong day. Choosing a day for a weekly job didn’t stick — the job ran on the first day of the week instead. Both weekly jobs were affected.
June 2026

✨ New

  • Booking Page Beta — a public scheduling page. Define session types with their own length, buffers, location, intake questions and confirmation email; share one link; bookings land on your calendar with a Meet link and collision protection.
  • Email Workflow Builder Beta — chain emails into multi-step sequences with conditions between them. A reply ends the sequence. Every message is still a draft you approve.
  • Tax on invoices — VAT, GST or sales tax as a proper line item, with your own label and rate, set once during setup.
  • Outreach filters got an exclude layer — pick several values per field, and explicitly exclude values you never want in a batch.
  • Run outreach on demand from the Run Assistants menu rather than waiting for its schedule.

⚡ Improved

  • Experiments moved from the Settings Hub to the Configure Hub, where the rest of the feature settings live.
Earlier Versions
April 2026

✨ New

  • Dashboard redesign — money first, then clients, then pipeline. Built around what needs a decision rather than what was easiest to calculate.
  • Quick Look — a mobile-shaped version of the dashboard for glancing at between meetings.
  • Email volume from real Gmail activity, with promotions, social and updates excluded so newsletters don’t read as conversations.
  • Meeting-hour roll-ups for last week, this week, next week and the next 30 days — plus focus blocks, the time you have actually protected.
  • Conversion funnel computed from your real stage history.

⚡ Improved

  • Relationship Health on the dashboard now uses your own health-score bands, so changing a cut-off changes the dashboard.
  • Need-to-re-up and possible-duplicate counts added.
  • The Biz Dev Board moved to the top level of the menu.
April 2026

✨ New

  • Multi-currency invoicing — bill in your client’s currency while your own reporting stays in yours, with rate movements tracked separately on the FX Ledger.
  • Water LLM Health Report — a daily email saying what ran overnight, what changed, and what failed.
  • Configure Hub and Settings Hub — two clear places instead of one long menu.
  • Voice Style Scan — reads your website and sent mail to fill in your Style Guide, so drafts sound like you.
  • Draft Outreach Email for a single contact, without setting up a batch.
  • Subscription filter builder — finds newsletters in your inbox and files them.
  • Client rows can be a company, not just a person.

⚡ Improved

  • Edit-in-place row actions across every tab.
  • A faster, more forgiving contact finder.
